The Great GTA 5 Engine Shut-Off Mystery (PS4 Edition!)
Let's talk GTA 5 on PS4. It's epic, right? But there's a burning question that keeps me up at night (okay, maybe exaggerating a little).
How do you actually turn off the engine?
The Button Dilemma
I know what you're thinking. "Duh, it's obvious!" Is it really though? Every time I try to make a stealthy getaway, the engine just keeps purring.
It's like the car's saying, "Hey everyone, look at me! I'm still here!". Not exactly subtle.
I've mashed every button. Seriously, every. Triangle, circle, square, X... the D-pad has seen better days. Still, the engine roars on.
The Parking Brake Predicament
Maybe the parking brake is the key? I pull that bad boy up (or is it down?). The car screeches to a halt. Glorious!
But the engine? Still going! It’s like it's mocking me. Honestly, I'm starting to feel personally victimized by a virtual vehicle.
I’ve tried parking on hills. I’ve tried parking on sidewalks. No dice. The engine persists. It's a mechanical marvel of stubbornness.
The "Just Get Out" Solution (My Controversial Take)
Okay, here's where my unpopular opinion comes in. And prepare yourself, because it's pretty radical.
I just get out. Yep, that's it. I bail. I leave the engine running. Fight me.
I know, I know. It's terrible for fuel economy (in a video game!). It's probably illegal (also in a video game!). But hear me out.
It's faster. More efficient. Less frustrating. Plus, it adds a certain... flair. Like a movie villain nonchalantly strolling away from an exploding building. Okay, maybe not exploding. But still.
And who needs stealth when you can just outrun everyone? That’s my motto.
The Stealthy Stroll (Or Attempt Thereof)
Okay, sometimes I try to be sneaky. Really, I do. It usually involves lots of crouching and bumping into things.
But the engine's always there, a constant reminder of my impending doom. It’s like having a personal hype man… who’s also a massive liability.
So, I've resigned myself to a life of roaring engines and hasty exits. It’s not ideal, but it's my GTA 5 life. And frankly, I'm okay with it. For now.
The Great Engine Conspiracy
Maybe there isn't a button. Maybe Rockstar wants us to suffer. Maybe the engines are sentient. The possibilities are endless!
Until then, I'll keep mashing buttons and perfecting my dramatic exit. After all, what's a little noise when you're causing chaos in Los Santos?
So tell me, am I the only one battling the engine shut-off struggle? Or are we all secretly just leaving our cars running all over San Andreas?
Let me know in the comments! Misery loves company, especially when it involves virtual car engines.
