Alright, adventurers! Let's talk about reaching the ever-so-slightly-spooky Shadowmoon Burial Grounds in Dragonflight. Trust me, it's easier than parallel parking a dragon.
First Stop: The Dragon Isles (Duh!)
You're already on the Dragon Isles, right? Fantastic! If not, maybe you need a different guide entirely. We’re assuming you've at least unlocked the ability to soar through the skies on your own personal winged lizard.
Head to Valdrakken, Your Adventure Hub
Think of Valdrakken as the Times Square of the Dragon Isles. It's where all the cool dragons hang out and where you'll find a portal to just about anywhere. Plus, the auction house is there!
Find the portal room! It's usually bustling with people, so just follow the crowd...or the smell of freshly baked dragon cookies (they're a thing, I swear!).
Portal Hopping: Your Ticket to Adventure
Look for the portal labeled "To Draenor". Yes, you read that right! We're going old-school. This isn't a typo, even if it feels like you're accidentally time-traveling.
Now, before you jump in thinking you're going to a completely different expansion, hold your horses! We're just using it as a stepping stone. Imagine it's like taking the subway to get to a specific bus stop.
Step through that shimmering gateway like you own the place. And prepare for a slight change of scenery!
Draenor? More Like a Pit Stop!
You'll pop out in Warspear (if you're Horde) or Stormshield (if you're Alliance). These are the main hubs in Draenor. Don’t panic! You're not here to fight Orcs (unless you *really* want to… but maybe later).
Now, locate your friendly neighborhood flight master. They’re usually perched on a high point, looking all majestic and bored. They can be found on the western side of your respective city.
Open up your map and look for Shadowmoon Valley. Don't get this mixed up with the Shadowmoon Valley in Outland. It's a common mistake that can lead to existential crises (and nobody wants that!).
Shadowmoon Valley: Almost There!
Fly your majestic self to Shadowmoon Valley! Enjoy the scenery. It's quite pretty, in a spooky-graveyard-chic kind of way.
Keep an eye out for Shadowmoon Burial Grounds. It's pretty hard to miss, what with all the, well, burials. It looks like a giant, ominous dungeon entrance carved into the side of a hill. You can probably see it from the air, so just adjust your flight path as needed.
Final Approach: You've Arrived!
Land gracefully (or not, no one's judging) in front of the dungeon entrance. Congratulations! You've successfully navigated the portal maze and arrived at Shadowmoon Burial Grounds!
Now go forth and conquer! Or at least try not to die too many times. Good luck, and may the loot gods be ever in your favor!
Just remember, if you get lost, there's always the option of asking a friendly passerby for directions. Most players are happy to help, especially if you offer them a dragon cookie (see, I told you they were real!).
Happy Dungeoning!
